Much of incident communications is intended to gain the confidence of the receiver

The 3 Pillars of Communications

  1. You must have an open line of communication
  2. The receiver must understand your message
  3. The receiver must remember your message

Key Learnings

CAN reports and IMS briefing have different purposes

Efficiency requires being prepared and choosing the appropriate format (CAN report or IMS briefing)
